Fresh Water Cannabis Co. and Care by Design Market welcome Erica Eschenburg and Jessica DenBoer to the team. These new hires signify the growth that both of these companies are trying to achieve. By bringing in new talent with unique abilities, Fresh Water and Care by Design will be able to grow to the next level. Erica is welcomed on as a Brand Manager for both of the companies, and Jess is welcomed on as the new Store Manager for Fresh Water in Baldwin. Erica is a recent Western Michigan University graduate with a bachelors in Fine Arts. She comes from a background of graphic design and writing.
Erica has worked closely with several WMU organization’s social media presence, incorporating branding and design strategy. During her time at WMU she was also a writer for the Western Herald Newspaper, covering stories around Kalamazoo, MI. Erica will be covering Fresh Water and Care by Design’s social media presence as well as covering the companies’ press coverage. When asked about the new position, Erica said that “I am so excited to work with this amazing team, full of talented people and be able to work in something I am passionate about at the same time.”
Jessica has been in the cannabis industry for a couple years now, taking care of customers and community members. She started out as a provisionary receptionist, in order to get her foot in the door of the industry. She was quickly promoted to budtender then manager due to her hard work, dedication and passion. She brings tons of experience from the cannabis industry with her, as well as a great approach to teamwork and leadership. When asked about the position, Jessica said that “I plan to continue in this line of work, as it is now what holds my heart and passion.”
Both Erica and Jessica bring a passion for THC and CBD with them as they join the team. Erica
has been able to use CBD to help balance and heal mental health, while Jessica has been able to use both THC and CBD to aid in healing and overcoming chronic pain. The personal touch and passion is exactly what Fresh Water and Care by Design look for when bringing on new team members.
